44 years ago , (spring 1971), I was in your beautiful country to climb Mt.Damavand.somewhere near the summit I had to give up.To strong was the storm ,the mist to thick and a lot of fresh snow.I feel still today, that once I would like to come back in your country.
Not only to clim Damavand ,but also to go in your desert,in your rock walls,in your culture.
You should be aware to keep your wilderness clean,silent and big. only wild mountains have something to tell us .If there are roads, everywhere,cable-cars,helicopters,the wilderness and the beauty are gone . and then - like in the most famous spots in the Alps and on Everest-there will be noyhing left than a pile of stonse or ice. wilderness is the most important treasure that we have on earth- let's defend it,to know more about ourselves
